Here is a brief
outline of our web design process from start to
finish. We typically aim to complete a bespoke website
within 2-4 weeks.
1. Initial Consultation
One of our experienced consultants will have a chat
(via telephone or in person) with you about your web requirements,
find out your goals and explore how having a website
can help you increase revenue, awareness and credibility
and also produce savings for your business.
2. Starting the Design Process
Your consultant will then recommend to you the solution
that best fits your business needs. When you are
ready to proceed and instruct us to design your
website we will require a 50% deposit. The remainder
is paid once your site has gone live. Your consultant
is available every single step of the way and will
keep regular contact and work closely with you,
so during the design process please don’t
hesitate to get in touch with us should you have
any queries.
3. Web Development Plan
Once you instruct us to start work on your website,
we will send you a development questionnaire to help us gain a better understanding of
your business and its customers. This will be your
opportunity to give us clear guidelines regards
colour schemes, styles, the impression you wish
to create and most importantly the purpose of your
new website.
4. Submission of Content Material
We will ask you to submit the written content required
for your new website along with any images we need
to include. We can provide a professional copywriting
or photography service for your website at an additional
cost.
5. Website Construction
We will begin to construct a sample layout for your
website and at this point submission of all material
is complete. The site’s construction follows
the pre-agreed graphic design, programming and structure.
6 . Client Feedback
We will publish your website to our development
servers so that you can see it working, via the
Internet. At this stage you have the opportunity
to make changes to the text or photos/images contained
within the site. Any alteration to the pre-agreed
structure or graphic design at this stage that is
not covered in our quote may be chargeable. (For
example if you decided to add some extra pages)
7 . Website Completion
Any final amendments or additions you wish to make
to your website are made. Your site is checked and
tested for fast access through our development servers.
8 . Go Live
The completed website goes live (is published to
the internet) and your website will be submitted
to search engines as outlined in your package. We
will also design a pixel advertisement for your
website for inclusion in the pixel ad based search
engine – www.usefulpixels.com. At this stage
we also set up any email facilities that have been
pre-agreed, fine tune the new website and we will
require the remaining balance to be paid.
9. Next Step Recommendations
After the site is live, your consultant will continue
to stay in contact with you and make recommendations
about how you could market your website using print
literature and other forms of online advertising
to ensure you get the most out of your investment.
